R.I.P. Brandi

Sorry folks - no follow up today on the golf tee ideas. I'm afraid our little darling kitty had presented with so much pain today that we finally had to make the decision we've been dreading for weeks now. At almost 18 years old she has made her final trip and gone to play in the large field of catnip in the sky. No more afternoon naps together on the sofa for us. I'm too much of a wreck to work on minis today. Rest in peace sweet Brandi.

  2. Pets are such an integral part of our lives and add so much to the quality of our daily existence, and it is very difficult when we have to let them go.
I too am sorry for the loss of your beloved Brandi, Marilyn, but what a good way to think of her now; rolling around in a large field of Catnip in the Sky. :)

  4. So sorry for your loss :(
I know how you feel - I lost our 17 years old dog some years ago. I thought at the time the we would get any pet after that, but life had it thought other ways..
Little less than 2 years ago we lost our daughters little pet bunny - whom I miss very much every now and then (and yes, I still cry after her sometimes..) and I still remember how hard it was then..
But I have our cats to comfort now and all the loving memories I carry in my heart.
Time will heal even if it doesn't feel so, and you have your memories to cherish and you can always be thankful that you had so many years together.
    Take care.
    Hugs, Irina

  7. Dear Marilyn,
One of the most difficult things in life is having to say goodbye to a beloved pet as they take over such a big piece of your heart...what a pleasure it must have been to have spent almost 18 wonderful years with your much loved cat. As you grieve Brandi's loss may memories of her warm your heart and soothe your soul...I'm so very sorry to hear of her passing. Hugs, Alayne
